One of the things that takes getting used to living in a big city in Asia is the sheer number of people around at all times. This is very different from where we lived in the States. While this often makes life interesting as there is always much going on around you, every once in a while you need to have a few minutes away. About 5 minutes away by bike is a park we enjoy taking walks in.
There are both large walkways and small paths as you stroll.
You can see in the background that you are still very much in the city, but beautiful all the same :-). In this way it reminds me a little bit of the Botanic Gardens in downtown Denver, which we often went to.
This park was the best place we found locally to appreciate the fall leaves.
And last but not least, a cute old couple riding a bicycle through the park.
