Monday Macro: Shoo Fly

This fly picture was in Durango, CO, in August. I have no idea what type of fly it is.

This next picture is probably the best fly picture I have ever taken. We gave this picture as a gift to some friends of ours but for some reason they wanted a picture of a flower instead.

Here is a closeup of its eye

Taken with a Canon T2i with the 18-55 mm kit lens mounted backward with a reversal ring and on the 55mm focal length.
