Pictures of California poppies from the Denver Botanic Gardens taken in August. In brought the blue of the background out when editing.
These pictures of poppies were taken in Durango, CO, in August. I really liked the bright colors of the flowers. The downside to taking pictures of them was that my depth of field (the area in focus) was so shallow I could only capture a small area of the flower in focus.
Taken with a Canon T2i with the 18-55 mm kit lens mounted backward with a reversal ring and on the 55mm focal length.
