When visiting another city where some friends of ours live I was able to get out and take a few pictures. Unfortunately I had a hard time finding a lot of things to photo, but in a few trees there were a few bugs that were pretty cool.
The first was a very colorful caterpillar, though perhaps not the cutest one I have ever seen.
The second wasn't actually alive but an exoskeleton shed by a cicada. This one is dedicated to Dad :-)
Photos taken with a Canon T2i with a manual 50mm lens reversed for better macro.
