While taking pictures of the cone flowers at the Denver Botanic Gardens I was greeted by a bumblebee! These were then my first good macro bee shots using my reversal ring. The last picture is a full resolution section of the bee's eye. I was super excited to be able to capture the segmentation in its eye!
Taken with a Canon T2i with the 18-55 mm kit lens mounted backward with a reversal ring and on the 55mm focal length.
