December, Weddings, and Holidays

Actually, the subject of this post is lying to you. We only went to one wedding in December. But it was Josh's sister's!

Rachel was really excited to be a part of the wedding.

Josh enjoyed getting to try his hand at some photography (though not as the official photographer, because that would be terrifying).

Yay!

After the wedding we had the privilege of spending time with our families before during and after Christmas. First with the Wiley side...

...then the Destrees.

One of the favorite activities of our time in the mountains with family was sledding!

Rachel's Dad proved to be the most passionate and daring sledder.
I'm pretty sure that turning his hat backwards must have increased his speed down hill by 2 or 3 times, because no one could surpass his long distance records.

We enjoyed getting to celebrate Christmas and exchange a few gifts with family.

Everything from books and scarves, to a microscope and a stuffed zombie were included in the gifts this year.

During the time with the Destree clan we had fun going to a penny arcade in Manitou Springs.

Skeeball!

One of the fun things about the Penny Arcade is that so many of the old machines work on all moving parts (which is not exactly surprising since there was a time before computers and video games).

Merry Christmas!
