Thursday, June 30, was our 4th anniversary! To celebrate we spent a couple of days camping near Jefferson Lake.
We enjoyed time on our front porch (thanks, Mom and Dad Destree!):

The room especially came in handy during a thunderstorm, when we retreated to play a game of cribbage.

We also got to do some astronomy. (Thanks, C.U.!)
Josh calibrated the scope before it got dark, then started Rachel on a hunt for Messier objects. (Which will probably take me several years. So far, I've found around 15 out of 110.)
Rachel and Brian enjoyed several cups of tea.
And Josh got some great macro shots. (We think this one is a strawberry blossom.)
On Thursday night we headed home and went out to Pasta Jay's. (Thanks, Living Social!)
Four years down, a lifetime to go!
