We were very excited today when we got a big package in the mail from friends back home! Though it was a little challenging getting the package here as the delivery man called to get directions to our apartment and for some reason my (Josh's) vocabulary of "where are you?" "I don't understand" "building 22" and "I am outside" wasn't quite sufficient for the task.
It contained notes from friends...
And lots of gifts!
Nerdy gifts for Josh including an astronomy tie and a book about physics and spherical cows...
Not-so-nerdy gifts for Rachel including a scarf and cute socks (which she was very excited about). I'm pretty sure the chocolate is for both of us though.

Christmas music, a kind of tea we have been missing, and maple syrup!
We want to say thank you so much to our friends and family who sent the package! We feel very loved and cared for.
One thing we did notice, however, is that certain items in the package actually travelled quite a long way en route to us, originating in Asia, bought in America, and shipped back to Asia :-)
